Could see comp though on offense. If wood had DPOY upside on D and would actually play team ball that is
I'm partial to Jabari Smith but I see them as Jabari (1a) to Chet (1b). Chet does have some Durant qualities imo. Better defender right now than Durant back then; but Durant was good on offense at that stage. Their path trajectory may meet somewhere near the middle offensively/defensively. Good fit next to either Wood or Sengun.....or both. Mobley is proving this league can have skinny dudes competing at the highest level.
Agreed completely. I think Chet has a high floor and an even higher ceiling. Low side he’s an elite 3&D big man. High side he’s a top 5-10 player in the league. Jabari and him have a lot of overlapping qualities, Jabari does have a more traditional body that can project. But damn, that length from Chet is something else
Well Jabari is long as well at 6'11" height. I feel both can serve as SF as well to compliment both Wood-Sengun; but also Porter-Green tandem. Just feel Jabari would do a slightly better option running SF than Chet. Chet might be slightly better as Small-Ball center than Jabari. Tie goes to the SF preference imo....greater need and excellent size for SF. Smoother. I know some think Chet is a great ball handler; but there are some kinks he needs to work out. But I'll take him as our pick.
They deserve to lose with such piss poor free throw shooting. 21of 35 lost them the game. St. Peters was 18 of 21.
if it was me, after losing to some school named Saint Peter’s, I’m going back to campus with my hoodie on making no eye contact, collecting my things, and
Out the door where? That team looked like trash aside for one dude. Calipari gets paid how much? He was incredibly out coach lol
A number of them will declare pro and the others will transfer. Rinse and repeat. It’s no different than any other year at Kentucky. How they did today doesn’t really matter
I expect Banchero to come out on a mission. In that matchup against Chet earlier this season he looked like the clearly superior player. I think he’s going to use this tournament to show why he was initially viewed as the top guy.
So much for Keegan Murray's spotlight. This was his chance to be the "NBA Ready" guy and play his way into the top 5. Now I wouldn't be surprised if he falls out of the lottery.
They have to at least play an NBA season for me. Nothing what the Gleague or College provides is close to an NBA environment albeit being a decent stomping ground. MM is fun af doe.
Nice, what kind of game was that with Curry and a girl in the back? Mixed? Imagine if Zhou Cheese could do that, he would never have been dumped.
