Did Chet play against some small competition? Yes. Did he dominate like he was supposed to? Also yes. Excited to see him match up against a very athletic Memphis team.
I do cringe every time he falls. With Yao it was never like that at the beginning. 2005, toe infection. 2007 his teammate fell on him and rolled him over/ 2008 that's when I started cringing. =( RIP big yao.
I can see that. I can also see how coordinated and athletic he is. I won’t say he is injury proof but I think he’s a lot more put together than meets the eye. Bol Bol scares me more
Yes after the bigs were gone and they were being guarded by dudes 6'4 some who hadnt played for a long time. Not sure if Tshiebwe (Kentucky) is on our radar I haven't watched much of them this year.
Duren will eat his lunch. It was a 16 seed and Timme had 30+. He’s great for a toothpick but his game will not transfer at all when playing NBA talent. Just another Zhou Qui from a few years ago!!!
This is just dumb and flat out wrong. He worked over Williams from Duke and several other bigs. Get used to it now, he’s going to be a rocket
Holmgren is skilled and very smart about the game. He may need a year to fill out physically but he wipl be an effective pro.
Can only play who’s in front of you. Can’t knock him for doing what he was supposed to do. Tshiebwe Is likely to be a very late first or early second so we probably won’t have a chance to take him. He’s putting up great numbers, but he’s 6’9 and the last thing we need is more tweeners.
I think Chet would pair very nicely with Sengun. I wouldn't compare him to Rudy Goebert. To me Chet is like a longer, smarter, more team oriented version of Wood who actually wants to play defense.
