Dude, I hate Hill and Hunt. I sure as hell don't forget creeps and violent men. They don't change. I'm sure a lot of people don't admire players that do that crap.
I don't know enough to say that, but what I do know is that Instagram is essentially a glorified escort service for these guys. I know that for a fact. I know of somebody that's 2 degrees removed from me that would consistently sleep with a Pro bowler, who had multiple other girls and treated them all worse than I would treat my dogs. And on top of that one of his early 20-something year old Pro Bowler teammates was trying to get with her as well. She was about 12 years older than this guy, but had a lot of Instagram followers due to provocative pictures.
Thats about 95% of all these women with athletes. You think those plastic women would be with them if they worked at Walmart? Hell no
Yeah. Atlanta is no different than most fan bases, and they have supported questionable characters before. Watson is very good and should be starting his prime.... he will likely be in a better organization and with better coaching.... he should win a lot of games there and start going deep into the playoffs. People forget that before Watson was publicly disclosed as a deviant, he had already asked for a trade... so he likely wouldn't be here anyways. It is sad all the way around.
Yeah I really don't care about his fetishes either but if it wasn't consensual then that's obviously wrong. Now I'm not gonna lie, I do think there is some money grab at play here by some accusers but I can't say 100% either way. He didn't tie up his loose ends, thought he was too much of a playa so it didn't matter, or both. I bet we don't hear anymore scandals for years surrounding DeShaun. He'll play it super clean. To me Tyreke Hill is the shining example of someone who can literally do whatever they want, as long as they're one of the top 3 players in your position, someone will want them. This goes for basically any sports and sometimes even in the regular job market.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, and I don't buy into those theories about the Texans setting him up, but it would make sense for a team to shield a quarterback from a controversy like this. Could be that the Texans would have paid these girls off and covered the whole thing up if Watson hadn't of requested a trade. That's not really a conspiracy, but I think it's a more rational way to think about how we are where we are.
You don't fault him for his "kinks"? He had sexual contact with women without their consent. I blame him for that. I don't feel bad calling him a predator, because that is what he did over and over again. He is very lucky, if anything. He isn't going to jail, he will still be able to make money playing football and he has people that are excusing his behavior. He doesn't even admit what he did was wrong, so I don't even have any empathy for him. It's not hard..... you cannot sexually assault people. What do you think his "kink" was? It wasn't having sex, it was the power and control of doing it. If he wants to pay women that are adults and not trafficked to have sex with him, I have no problem with that.... if he wants to have multiple girlfriends and sex partners.... again, that is his own business..... when he starts moving the covering and ejaculating on massage therapists, then that is crossing the line.
Did the team know about it? From what I remember the team did not know until it was public. What is insane is that Watson had a chance to settle some of the early allegations and likely keep it under wraps and he didn't.
I don't disagree with you, and maybe it's just me trying to rationalize things for him, which I definitely don't need to do. I just assume that he's too dumb to realize that he's not going about what he was trying to do in the proper way. That being said, it certainly does seem like he assaulted these women, and is probably lucky that they didn't have sufficient evidence.
No idea, and I'm not trying to promote any kind of theory or idea that they might have. I don't think that knowledge would ever be public when we're the other to be honest.
And this is why I won’t bat an eye when he leaves this franchise. Hope they get the best set of assets they possibly can and that we turn the page and start the next chapter.
If he doesn't decide tonight it looks like ATL will decide for him. They owe Ryan 7.5 million tomorrow. I read somewhere the Falcons will pull their offer if they have to pay Ryan tomorrow.
I hope Watson doesn't go to the Saints, not because of the package they are offering, but because I like the Saints if he goes there I would have to hate the Saints. I'd prefer him to go somewhere I already hate like the Cowboys, or Titans, or Utah Jazz...
