Campaign promises and actual actions are two different things. Trump was going to balance the budget and make Mexico pay for the wall but neither came close to being true. I prefer looking at actions over campaign rhetoric, which is always more telling. The mean old Obama administration approved most of the refineries upgrades, pipelines (not Keystone), and LNG export terminals that made the US a major exporter for a brief moment under Trump despite the rhetoric. The O&G industry is the one that went through an historic bust due to historic capital mismanagement and now they don't have the labor, equipment, and financial freedom to "drill baby drill". Wow, there is a lot here, but let's break down some of it: Those groups you associate with the right, I don't agree with, to me most of those (though many of those I never heard of frankly) are extremest, just like I would say with groups like Antifa, BLM and others and call people on the left as one of those. Now, the reason I completely have left the left, the characters running that party are a lot worse than the loudmouths you mentioned on the right - most of those just scream to be heard. However, the reason I have left the left completely is where they want to take America and lets be honest, I really see their cast of characters as much worse, Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schiff, Beto, Stacy, Bernie, Warren, Schumer, Waters, AOC, Omar, this list can go on and on, I don't see anybody they have to follow and run with moving forward in my opinion, that party is officially a mess - no mater how the guys on this site want to try and make you believe. Like I said, I really believe that will play out in November, which is why so many on this site are panicking. I will be honest, having a discussion with someone on the left (read most the responses just hear on the D&D) is a waste of time as they do follow many of those strategies you mentioned. Either that, or following the other thing you are trying to do and say I get all my information/ideas from Fox - which is kind of ironic when the other side never mentions all the places of crap they get their information from, like CNN, MSNBC, most media - but then again, they are never wrong, jut the ones that disagree. To be honest, i use to watch news from both sides to try and understand both sides, so that could be Fox and CNN, but in the past year or so, I have avoided listening to either side, because it has gotten so bad. Though I do see myself turning to other new, news station once in awhile - but its hard to get real news any longer, everything is spinned to their beliefs and its hard to decipher truth from opinions, in a lot of the situations.
