We really haven’t thought of this…Texans accepted offers before teams could talk to Deshaun. So it doesn’t matter if he says he will only go to a certain team. Whatever team he chooses, the trigger is just pulled.
Bingo. Team is just as ready as Watson to move on. You can come up with the requisite trade value with any of the teams in discussion. Some would appear to offer better future pick position, but even that is not guranteed. The NFL tends to ebb and flow and doing business with one team that is perceived to be a bad team next year or beyond may not materialize that way especially if Watson hits the ground running and plays ball at an MVP level.
Hope Watson gets traded and plays like ass, and/or has a mental breakdown from not being a golden child anymore. Won’t wish injury on anyone but wouldn’t be mad
Outside of his great 2016 and 2017 seasons, he's been pretty average. A box safety that could cover, but now his athleticism/coverage skills have declined. My understanding is that Tampa 2 safeties need to be able to do everything, so I'm not sure if the fit makes sense. Ioannidis is the most interesting player on that list.
