The Texans lucked out with Watson A) being sick b) being so talented c) being in the NFL where as long as the players aren't dancing in the end zone the owners don't care what they do. They will likely get a historic package for a completely damaged person with incredible football talent. The fact that Watson did the things he did makes the fanbase more amenable to trade a guy who didn't want to be here in the first place.
That Atl deal plus draft Hamilton and Walker. Defense is rebuilt immediately, offense has a big weapon and Tunsil coming back.
So the "Houston Choir Boys" persona persists. These two incidents while in their own rights are concerning are nowhere near the same. Getting into a fight/brawl is not the same as raping 20 women and yet the rapist seems to be attracting a boatload of interest. Go figure. Kamara will serve his few games suspension and come back to being a top 3 RB in the NFL under contract through 2025.
The precedent has already been set for the most part - it will be a 6 game suspension as part of the conduct policy. Granted there hasnt bee a case of this many women accusing Watson, I just dont see it going past 6 games.
