    9 is better than 1 or 0%. I guess. ;)

There was a 9 game stretch last year where Ben Simmons went 67% from three. Granted it was 2/3 but still #data :)

I really think there must be something wrong with his hands the way he is shooting, and some of the inexplicable turnovers. I mean that’s no excuse for the poor defense, but…

I’ve been thinking this for a few years…if we found out he has lost some sensation in his hands or fingers or something, I wouldn’t be surprised

Heard an interesting stat today on the BS podcast.

Westbrook leads the league in shot quality based on tracking data. Because everyone leaves him wide open.

He also is last in the league in expected points scored vs actual points scored based off his shot quality.

He is getting the best looks in the entire league and is scoring the least expected points off of those attempts because of how bad he is as a shooter.

Game in the line, who do you have taking the shot? Westbrook or Simmons

Next years 3 point contest should feature Westbrook, Simmons, Rondo, and Brewer (back from retirement)

First player to make a shot wins

The best of this terrible choice would be Westbrook. He is not afraid to take the shot. Might not know where it's going, but he's not afraid

Westbrook. Even at his current worst, he's still a better shooter than "I rather use my non-dominant hand" Simmons.

Eh, Simmons passing to Thybulle for 2 free throws is better than Russ jacking up one of his patented “nothing but glass” jumpers.

Agreed if that is a possibility. I read it as one of them has to take the shot. In that case, I would want Westbrook over Simmons

Yeah, that was my take too. Westbrook would have 9% chance making the shot. Simmons would have 0% because he wouldn't have the balls to shoot before time ran out.

Rondo or Brewer win that easily. Rondo shot 3s like he was John Stockton against the Rockets in the bubble playoffs.
