It is about being an ONLY fan - we are all fans of Jalen Green but not at the expense of being Rocket fans. But whatever, that is my world view, if people want to be PLAYER only fans, fine.......but I reserve the right to be a b**** and b**** about it myself. DD

Serious question, but do you genuinely believe that there is even a significant portion of people here that are Green only fans? It seems like you are arguing a strawman. Green is the Rocket's highest draft pick since Yao, and he is barely 20 years old. He is easily the only player on this team that we could say is core to the future at this point in time, and everyone wants him to succeed. Right now, the fans have nothing to look forward to except for individual successes of their rookies, because these individual successes is a reflection of their potential. The only way the Rockets will succeed in the future is if their draft picks are able to play up to or exceed their drafted potential. Rooting for Jalen Green is literally rooting for the Rockets. He isn't selfish, he clearly works very hard, and he's somehow able to navigate around Wood and KPJ who are both players that play for themselves and their own numbers, and dominate the majority of offensive possessions.
I think there are alot less green only fans in here than you think. I bet I get labeled as green only fan bc I defend him. Reason that makes it seem like we are green only fans is bc we actually agree with most other criticisms so don't come to those players aid as much (wood, kpj) Other players don't really get talked about by anyone. Most people like Christopher and want to see him play more The only other slight disagreement is about senguin so that's why most disagreements Happen about green and hence why it seems like we are only fans. Think about it like this. There would have to be a reason for anyone to be a only fan. Lin was asian and alot of people joined clutch fans only for him so they could care less about rockets. Most green fans were already on clutchfans rooting for rockets. You think a whole bunch of rockets fans really just said screw rockets now I am just going to follow green? What's infuriating is all the crazy comments green gets against him. Dudes calling him a bust or that his ceiling is Brewer. Saying rockets are getting blown out more since he has more touches (which I clearly showed in a earlier post to be false). So on and so forth and rant complete
Both would make a great politician. One would fight for people's rights. The other would solve the homeless problem.
Last 16 games are on the easy side and 9 of them are at home. I think Jalen keeps ascending and the coaching staff are going to have to do some really weird things to prevent us winning too much. Hope we keep with the trend of giving more minutes to the younger players.

We need to keep losing, hope both Orlando and Detroit can pick up an extra win then we can use that pad to beat the Nets and still have one less win than the other 2. Jalen needs to save anymore 30+ point outings for that game.
We’ll be ok, those two teams are more organized and well rounded than us. Jalen is going to be Jalen, can’t change a star. I really think he’s going to tear it up to end the season. If we want to avoid winning, better alter what’s around him and Sengun. I think best strategy is sit all the vets. It’s over, there’s 16 games remaining and learning time is over. Let’s throw the rookies into the fire and live with the results.
