    Draft Chet sign Tyus Jones.
    Draft Jabari sign Zubac

Tyus and KPJ can battle it out in training camp like Kenny and Sam.

We should've done everything in our powers to get Haliburton. I know Sabonis is better than Wood but maybe we had a chance to snag Tyrese. He would've been a great addition imo.

As it is, the Rockets have one guy that they are really building around and that’s Jalen Green. They hope they have a rotational big in Sengun and a couple of nice long term reserves in Christopher and maybe Tate, but that is it.

If they get a top 2 pick they will get to add Holmgren or Smith and that will help defensively. I would rather Holmgren because he would allow for a blah defender like Sengun to play some.

Possible the Rockets could just go big and get Holmgren at the top of the lottery and Jalen Duren with the Nets pick if he is available.

Duren and Holmgren would definitely help the defense inside. However it could cause spacing issues.

Another option would be to go with Ty-Ty Washington with the Nets pick or Jaden Ivey with the lottery pick and maybe go after Walker Kessler with the Nets pick.

Those moves would allow them to move Wood and possibly Porter.

Meh. I don’t know why no one likes to acknowledge Sengun is still not physically ready for the NBA. From a muscular perspective, he was and mostly still is in atrocious shape. He just got bullied by Valanciunas, and it’s logical. That dude is one of the strongest people in the NBA. I can’t see Sengun as an easily bullied player in the future, just needs to put on muscle.

He’s one of those players whose pre-NBA athletic training was so bad that you’re actually going to see him get more athletic for a season or two. Hamstring, glutes, abs and core in general seemed weak to start the season - getting those up to average will give him a little bump in explosiveness. Upper body needs work too. Stamina still can get better. At the moment he’s getting by on pure talent and hard work.

Sengun at 21 is going to be the one who comes knocking, not vice versa.

As far as talent, always get the best player, whether it’s FA or draft.

    If it were me:
Trade Wood + Brooklyn pick to Portland for Bledsoe (non-guaranteed), one of their lottery picks and one if their second rounders. Draft Smith (1 or 2), Tari Eason (Portland's pick) and Oscar Tshiebwe. Those guys aren't going to transform the defense as rookies but they each possess tools to help turn the defense around.

    KPJ/Nix
    Green/Christopher
    Martin/Eason/Mathews
    Smith/Tate/Garuba
    Sengun/Garuba/Tshiebwe

In my fantasy league in 2k22, Segun was playing for Mavericks. He looked good(Scola). Rockets are not coaching
or playing him right at all. Just my thoughts. Rockets need to feed him the ball down under more.

Watching KPJ playing basketball hurts my eyes, Jaygup is 100% a better prospect than KPJ.

Jalen Brunson (PG) - Free Agency
    J Smith/C Holmgren (PF) - Rockets pick
    W Kessler (C)- Nets pick
    Bill Laimbeer - Head Coach

    This is my dream offseason.

We don't need a star PG, assuming Green will take most of the scoring load. We just need a guy who understands how to run an offense, makes the right play, hit the 3 when left open, and defends reasonably well.

The interior defense is a much bigger problem IMO. You need a guy who can defend the rim and not a spacing problem. That's pretty rare. That's why I hope Sengun can develop a consistent 3 so that we can play a big guy alongside him.
