Like who? Macron, Bennett, Johnson, Erdogan, the Taliban, Ahmadinejad, the Pope, U.S. Generals, ex-Generals, pretty much every leader and ex-leader of the free world and the not-so-free minus Xi, Kim, Lukashenko and a handful of other despots, puppets and brainwashed, braindead bbs members such as yourself?

This is the guy when the President of Mexico said they were not paying for the wall he changed his request to well, "will you stop saying you are not paying for the wall. The press will report that if you keep saying it... and if not then I don't want to talk to you guys anymore." I'm taking my ball and going home.

Well the response for Israeli aid was shitty enough for Ukrainians to leak this and call their correspondence into question. Maybe, Israel will act more with tangible money and supplies. Very doubtful.

Funny how they'd rather coddle a white nationalist peddler of anti-Semitism than support a Jewish president whose nation is getting dumped on

Everybody, including china, is willing to put the squeeze on Putin. It’s all tactical bullshit playing out at the expense of Ukrainian lives…

China isn't putting any squeeze on Putin unless you mean it's a love squeeze

you have serious comprehension issues, it’s only diminishing them if you believe them superior which I’m sure your racial biases are leading you to believe.

My argument is stupid because a Ukrainian politician goes on TV and goes “it’s different because you have people with blonde hair and blue eyes dying this time” …and they have a large cohort of individuals harassing minorities preventing them from leaving—and then a video comes out stating European city when really it should be any city? That’s not a matter of perception..it’s explicitly stated. If you have an inherent bias that automatically cues you into believing that then yes, you’re going to get offended. Worst of all, the Yemenis, Iraqis, Afghanis who have lost their lives on the order of millions (where the **** was/is your outrage then) matter just as much. Any city, and any innocents losing their lives deserve to be in our prayers. I have close friends in Ukraine, I was just Skyping with. They agree.

i said it deeply saddens me to see any suffering, apparently pointing out that the theme of European lives mattering more is too much for some people. It’s the problem with virtue signaling folks like you, you want to sit behind a computer screen and type out thoughts and prayers and project faux outrage.

I was 15 during Desert Storm. The American public and Western world were outraged at what was seemingly going on in Iraq. It was not solely the premise that Saddam Hussein had WMD, but that he was killing innocent people, murdering dissidents, ridding the country of Shiites, ethnic and religious minorities, committing human rights abuses and invading the sovereign nation of Kuwait. The U.S. and UN actually went to war over this in case you don't remember or weren't around.

The U.S. also went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq when the public was again outraged at school girls being bombed and murdered by the Taliban and, then, ISIS; ethnic minorities such as the Yazidis being exterminated, human rights abuses, innocents being oppressed and murdered.

American and Western soldiers died in these wars, thousands of troops were sent and neither of these wars , one could argue, had escalated to the current level of what is going on in Ukraine.

You can argue all day, in hindsight, whether it was justified or not, whether it was the right thing to do, necessary or substantiated. But, the fact remains that Americans and most of the free world were outraged at the perceived atrocities being committed by Saddam Hussein, the Taliban and ISIS against innocent brown people.

We went to war with Iraq because we were convinced they had WMD's not because of Saddam's brutality against brown people. We went to war with the Taliban because we wanted Osama Bin Laden, not because of the way they treated brown people. And both of those turned into major **** shows where thing would have been better off if we never went in.

    Try again.

Let's look at some other conflicts by the way:

    1. US intervention in Syria: **** show
    2. US intervention in Libya (under UN): **** show but may have stabilized
    3. US/NATO intervention in Bosnia (under UN): **** show but success
    4. US Intervention in Somalia (under UN): **** show
    5. US intervention in Kuwait (under UN): success
    6. US Intervention in Nicaragua: **** show where we sided with genocidal maniacs
    7. US intervention in Vietnam: **** show

It goes on and on and on. Basically, our involvement has usually backfired or made more of a mess. The very few exceptions were when the UN was involved (because surprise surprise a major power wasn't fighting a proxy war against us).

The point that @LosPollosHermanos is trying to make isn't that, "Hey we didn't help the suffering brown people before, so why help the white people." which is where many people have gone with his argument sadly.

    No.

It's, "hey, this **** doesn't work, wake up and smell the coffee, and just because it's europe and white people it isn't going to make a difference - it's going to be a **** show that ends in failure"

We went to war because saddam was brutalizing his own people? Did you forget Kuwait (and it’s significance), the whole WMD fiasco, the 90>% poured into private contractors and war profiteering?

the open political dialogue across both parties now is that it was a mistake to invade both countries (blaming poor intel, not brutality*). Over a million people have lost their lives as a result.

again, if your argument is based on that premise and our own govt has openly refuted it maybe you need to go back and consider.

The US did not invade and occupy those countries for altruistic reasons. This take seems more like an excuse for the US to yet get in another war.

The evidence to counter your point is the many other regions of the world where the said actions, which continue on to this day, are ignored by the US government and its citizens. Throw in oil or some other valuable resource that could enrich its citizens then America will be all over it.

    I dont understand war mongers.

This is a stupid take. "Doing Nothing Effective" unless NATO establishes a no-fly zone and gets pulled into the war? Let's ignore the basic fact that the US has been training the Ukrainian military since 2014 and weapons have been given to Ukraine since 2014. Given how they have handled the Russian invasion, seems pretty effective vs 2014.

Russian jets have bombed a military base near the Polish border where foreign fighters for Ukraine were training.

You realize you sound like a leftist.

Not that I am criticizing your post - I agree with you. Just ironic

I saw that, this was a training facility where Americans themselves would train Ukrainians.

Clearly a message from Russia and a sobering one of how easily this can go sideways.
