It appears that our so-called leaders are intent on instigating WWIII on their watch, at the current time.

Russia Threatens Attack On NATO Weapons Shipments To Ukraine: "Legitimate Targets"

Setting the stage for a potential major escalation with Western and NATO powers, the Kremlin warned on Saturday that the Russian military is prepared to target Western arms shipments that are continuing to pour into Ukraine. Russia's Deputy FM Sergei Ryabkov said on state TV that Washington had been informed in the last days that Moscow will see weapons supply convoys entering Ukraine as "legitimate targets".

"We warned the United States that the orchestrated pumping of weapons from a number of countries is not just a dangerous move, it is a move that turns these convoys into legitimate targets," Ryabkov said in the remarks, which served as a severe warning to the West.

Of course they are legitimate targets. We would certainly regard them as such if the Russians moved similar weapons against us in similar circumstances. And our so-called "leaders" assuredly know that. In fact, the Russians would be criminally negligent on behalf of their own troops if they did not destroy these weapons before they were deployed against them.

This is not being done in ignorance. They know that this is going to escalate this right to the cliff-edge of WWIII, and they are openly and intentionally choosing to do it anyway. This is positively surreal.

So now you are diminishing what Ukraine is going through because there is a perception that we don't care as much about non-European cities. Your argument is F'ing stupid. Didn't realize you were so WOKE.

Trump still loves Putin. He loves the evil autocrats and dictators. He wants to be like them.

Trump on was given several chances during a Fox News interview to reject autocrats and walk back his praise for President Vladimir Putin of Russia but didn’t. Fox’s Sean Hannity set Trump up multiple times during the 30-minute exchange to criticize Putin, but the former president didn’t go along. He instead touted his relationships with Putin, the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and President Xi Jinping of China.

Right. Because as currently framed by Russian thought-leaders, this invasion is an existential threat to Western Europe because it will keep expanding West until Berlin. No one is asking Eritrea or Peru to send troops or munitions.

It's their right to do or message however they can to survive.

I love how Israelis told Ukraine to give up and take Russia's terms. Those ****ers are pro-survival above all, went as far as instigating an American war with Iraq (success) and Iran, but when it goes for other countries, gfy and die.

    Savage politics

Israel, Ukraine deny report Bennett recommended yielding to Russian demands

A top Ukrainian adviser and an Israeli official on Saturday pushed back against a media report suggesting Israel tried to nudge Ukraine into caving to Russian demands during talks.

Israel has been engaged in diplomatic efforts to try to end the war in Ukraine. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

A report carried by Israel's Walla news, The Jerusalem Post and US news site Axios had suggested, citing an unidentified Ukrainian official, that Bennett had urged Ukraine to give in to Russia.

You are so pro-Putin. The West has every right to arm Ukraine, just like the Chinese and the Soviet did when we were at war in Vietnam and in Korea.

Mismanaged military or not, this is going to be very hard for Kyiv to survive once fully surrounded without help from the western portions of the country breaking this pincer?.

Can someone clarify that an attack on an EU member is treated the same or differently as an attack on a NATO member?

Nato is an alliance that is responsible for the collective security of Nato nations. EU nations that are not members of Nato are not covered by the Nato defense pact. They are on their own - unless certain members of Nato or even all of Nato decides to take an ad hoc interest in the conflict.
