I saw pics of the same knott in other bays, still don't know how prevalent it is.

 

That comes from the investigation done by NASCAR. They are the ones that have made the claim. It isn't just that nobody reported it. NASCAR made the official statement stating that this was the only garage that had the noose.

I wonder how it will play out if he tries that kind of crap inside the Cook County jail. Both with A) his fellow inmates and B) the prison guards.

Jussie does not conduct himself like a guy that is mentally or emotionally prepared to successfully navigate the prison social environment. This could be a real eye-opening experience for him.

If Smollett dies in prison, it is unlikely anyone is going mistake the circumstances for a suicide. If he acts up the way he tends to with some of his fellow inmates, it could be a short stay for him.
