He's been foul prone ALL year lol. He also gets targeted on defense for other teams to isolate on. Lastly he's turnover prone on offense. There is a reason his minutes are limited

We may not love his rotations. But I personally have had to revise my assessment on Silas, I think he's a pretty good coach. He's generally insightful about Xs and Os when asked, and he seems to have high interpersonal intelligence which a great coach needs. And he's done a great job with player development as well. Maybe sticking with the two-big Theis lineup for 15 straight Ls was a front office decision. Didn't seem like a Silas offense then or now. Also having Danuel House off the roster certainly helps, although it was questionable why his ass was getting minutes at all
He benched the starters the entire 4th, to send a message like he’s pop. jalen only played 27 minutes when he seemed to be figuring out the defense in the 3rd.
Lol, you guys act like our starters were playing well. They played awful and I guess Silas was tryin to send a message. My problem with Silas is he doesn’t seem to be good at evaluating his own talent, he plays guys out of position, he doesn’t put guys in a position to maximize their strengths, and seems to run an undisciplined shop. I don’t think he’s done a good job but deserves one more year to turn things around. now What happened to Christian Wood?
Give JG and Sengun as many mins as possible these last few games. Benching them for an entire qt is dumb af. Those are your 2 building blocks of the future.

Christopher and Fernando did cut the deficit to 14 points from 30 points so I do not blame Silas this time.
so hes not done a good job but deserves a year more?! this is not a charity or a public school where everybody deserves a chance... let him first prove himself elsewhere perhaps in europe or g league and then give him another chance...until then fire him on the spot!

with this roster Obradovic would be be in contention for homecourt seed, team would play efficient and disciplined ball, and thus be the best version of themselves even CW, talents would be developed optimally, hustle would be our second name, Houston Hustlers Rockets
Who said he was sending a message? The first unit was awful. Second unit had energy and defense. Our team sucks. If you watch closely KPJ doesn’t set players up correctly and often makes the wrong play. Green makes the wrong rotation on defense a lot of times. Same with Matthews and JC. Sengun has slow feet and short arms and isn’t a paint protector as guys drive on him all the time with no fear. One thing I don’t get about the coaching is the lack of ball pressure on guys like luka. The screen and role defense sucks. The Rockets don’t hedge, show, or blitz/trap the screen and instead play a lot of drop zone with the big and the ball defender running under screener or running through screens. They switch sometimes though not as often. Their defense needs to be more aggressive.
He doesn’t have much to work with on offense. Only thing I criticize coaching is with defense which i think should be more aggressive. But not all on coaching as players miss their rotations, not communicating, and poor help defense. If you watch closely Green and JC miss a lot of assignments on when to stay and when to go on down screens or helping in the paint. But this is inexperience.
