I agree with you, but the Mavericks' starters played an average of 34 minutes (Doncic with 36 minutes) despite having the game won.
Silas should also know how to handle other aspects of the game, not just game time. I still think that he is not the right coach for this team.

I think Silas doesn’t know the answer.
He needs every scrubs to share the ball. He doesn’t need that center piece.

 

Rockets made a run and cut it down to 14 so it made sense for them to keep the starters in. I don't know how long they kept them in afterwards but if they finished the game then that's bad management by Kidd.

 

Thats fair. I do have my gripes with the way they prioritize vets over young guys in general but in this instance youre probably right

I really dont like his passivity. In my mind thats a terrible quality in a coach. Even players coaches need to have fire in them especially when protecting the players
