see, now we’re talking. Monetary policy and the federal reserve. An actual, legit subject for what government might do to combat inflation. Now, tightening monetary policy could also shrink economic growth and we get stagflation, but at least it’s a real discussion. not the mindless drivel that comes from the usual suspects on this board. but real discussion about monetary policy is a lot less fun than mindless mojoman cartoons or stupid commodore tweet clips.
Great discussion buddy, we just differ, though love to hear a rational point. What you say about right, unfortunately I think I’d magnitude worse today on the left, it is not just a policy issue I have currently. It is interesting how two people that seem to have had similar political backgrounds at one point, now see it as complete opposites, just shows the state of the world today - truth is, on both sides it’s a mess, time for a new party to emerge and some fresh faces… Till next discussion…
Green new deal is more destructive than Godzilla in Tokyo and I’m all for electric vehicles and recycling and impossible burgers @SuraGotMadHops
Do you know that the Green New Deal is just an idea that isn’t actually legislation? It’s a boogeyman in this discussion about current events. The green new deal is no more responsible for current oil and gas prices than Critical Race Theory, another favorite boogeyman
This reminds of when the person in the battle rap runs out of things to say and just repeats the word yo over and over again This is like when you get put on the spot on a book report and you didn’t read the book
Joe Bidens America is when Californians go to Mexico to get cheaper gas smh ..@tinman https://www.10news.com/news/local-news/san-diegans-heading-across-border-to-find-cheaper-gas As of Friday morning, the average gas price in San Diego County is $5.73 cents, up from $5.60 on Wednesday. Currently, the average price of gas in Mexico is just over a dollar per liter -- equal to about $3-$4 per gallon in the U.S.
The gas prices in DFW right now are 3.98 per gallon as of 30 minutes ago when I filled up. That is also "about $3 to $4 per gallon" technically. Sounds like without heavy environmental regulations that California has the prices are basically the same regardless of where you live in the world. This furthers the case that gas prices have nothing to do with Joe Biden. California... yeah a bit since they have higher regulations given their need to curb emissions more because of the smog issues they've had in the past in LA. It's more expensive to live in California than Mexico... well no sh$t sherlock. It's also freaking California, and sought after living for a good reason. San Diego, Laguna, Newport, West Hollywood, Huntington, Santa Cruz, San Fran, etc..... these are some of the nicest places in the world to live in. OMG California is expensive.... no freaking Sh$t. It's also much more expensive to live in Austin, TX than it is in Dickinson TX.
There are 5 fewer Doritos per bag now thanks to inflation https://theweek.com/news/1011195/there-are-5-fewer-doritos-per-bag-now-thanks-to-inflation
Or buy a small SUV or god forbid a gas powered sedan...... You get no sympathy for buying a huge truck you don't use to haul things or a big ass SUV.
Price per gallon is the same for all gas fueled vehicles, regardless of size, you know that right? It's not just truck drivers that are hurting. Corolla drivers with daily commutes are paying a lot at the pump as well.
