Yeah I used to like joking around with hakeem until she went full nazi and then even further down the crazy train with the unrealistic devotion to Sengun. Recently unignored Jiffy after seeing some decent discourse and the ability to remain civil. I've gone off the edge when pushed there by these types and I hate it so I'd rather not entertain them. I welcome differing views and love learning new things as often as possible. I dont like when bullies try to haze you into submission and derail the good debates that you can find here with their own ego and inability to not name call and be an overall ******* - and it has nothing to do about "feelings" or being sensitive. Just use the Golden Rule and treat everyone decently its really not that hard. At the end of the day this should be a personal experience for everyone here - doesnt have to conform to one certain idea of a forum. I like having much more optimism on my feed.
I still find it hilarious that the cult will attack literally every basketball metric in order to pretend that Jalen Green wasn't absolute trash up until about a month ago...... given that takes away from how impressive what he's been able to accomplish truly is. So there’s been 5 players that were as bad as Jalen and turned out good. Lavine, Booker, Brown, Garland, Edwards. And Garland was coming off not playing an entire year due to meniscus surgery. How many players were this bad, and never turned out to be anything? How many good players were never this bad? I mean I’m glad we got one that looks like will fit into this group, but how is this proof that it isn’t “ridiculously rare”. Again, we never argued Jalen wouldn’t improve, that’s not rare, and he had to improve just given how bad he was. But what’s rare was for him to become as good as he’s been, starting out as bad as he was. I’ll just leave it at that, and agree with whatever you respond with. It’s not really worth arguing about how rare it is for him to improve this much, the important thing is that he has and I’m happy about that.
