Then his hatred for the Texans isn’t what he’s making it seem like it is then.

He should be willing to go anywhere just to get off the Texans right?…

If not then wait for a deal that works for both Watson and the Texans just not for Watson.

If Deshaun wants to play next year, I think he’s going to have to waive his clause and go to Carolina. They can offer a high pick, and I would still insist on Brian Burns(they said he’s off limits, but their owner reeks of desperation to get a franchise QB). And I would also make sure to not have CMC in the trade(I think he’s on the downward trend).

The biggest issue with this to me will be Brian Burns. Might be one of the most underrated players in the NFL, dude is a stud. Carolina doesn’t want to give him up though.

No, it's about using whatever leverage he has to create the best situation for HIMSELF. Going to Carolina does not do that. They won 6 games, will be without a first round pick for 3 years, and will also lose a couple players as well. That's pretty much the Texans all over again with different ownership and a coach that's on the hot seat.

It's a simple exercise. Based on the teams that need a QB and have not directly said HELL NO to bringing in Watson... make a list of the top 3 teams that the Texans would want to trade him to. Then imagine you are Deshaun Watson. Make the same list based on what he would want. I guarantee you those lists will be totally different....

Then he stays and is forced to play. When he doesn’t, he’s fined.
He’s playing a risky game with his career.

He has time on his side. Texans want the deal done ASAP. He knows he is likely facing a suspension next season. He's in no hurry until that suspension is served.

What if they included Burns in the package only if we took CMC?

He sure does have time, 4 years of a contract extension.
Hell miss out on the most important years of his career.

I have no clue if Watson would accept a trade to Carolina but they have a young, top 8 defense and the have plenty of weapons (CMC, Anderson, Moore, Marshall) on offense. Add Watson to that team and they will be favorites in the NFC south and will probably be one of the 4 best teams in the NFC.

Buccaneers on the other hand are already over the cap, are losing players and would have to get rid of more guys to accommodate Watson’s contract.

How good will that Carolina defense be without the 2-3 players they would lose to the Texans in the proposed trades in here?

True…if I’m Carolina I’m not giving up Horn or Burns.

Yeah I think it will be Chinn and brown and 3 first and late round pick.

We could potentially come away with a

    Chinn
    Hamilton
    Sauce/Stingley trade back??

    Defensive backfield
    Can you imagine!!!???

Prediction: Watson indicted on Misdemeanor chargers or no-billed. Trade frenzy ensues. Could be wrong...LOL.

This is what I would do, but I’d wait till the trade deadline and see if we could up that value

If he wanted what was best for himself then he could have
    1) not signed a long term deal with a team that couldn't stand after 1 season into extension
    2) you know stick to just getting a normal massage

His actions have shown he's an incredibly selfish and self-centered person. I expect nothing less from him moving forward.
