I get what you're saying, I 100% disagree with the way Westbrook is handling all of this using his family, wife and KIDS. It's messed up and weak. And I see how he is putting this all on himself, but I still think that he is taking all of the heat only because the media is protecting the Lakers, who have been poorly run since the Buss heirs took over the team, and LeBron who wanted Westbrook and cannot raise the level of a team nearly as well as he used to and is very concerned about scoring, and because they're mad that they won't see the Lakers deep into the playoffs.

 

Here to call him what I've always called him, Westbrick. Everyone that makes a wave either good or bad gets nicknames bestowed upon them. If you don't like it ignore them and do something to change peoples minds. I don't hate the man, it's sports. He misses too many shots for most fans, coaches, players, and media members. So the name stuck. Go count your millions, park your fancy cars in your mansions. I had zero interest in watching Westbrick until he came here to keep Harden from quitting like McHale said he does when things don't go his way. It failed, so we all moved on. But now I might just have to look up the ole LA Faker schedule and tune up my vocal chords. WESTBRICK

The whole part of him & his family feeling their family name is being disrespected because they call him Westbrick is the funniest **** to me.

I agree, I would want my kids hearing that **** spoke on their dad in person, but them being that offended is hilarious

 

It wasn't even that long ago that people and media were putting AD in the same tier as Jokic or Giannis. He's the Lakers only real asset left but his stock has taken a huge hit.

As far as Westbrook goes, I definitely don't see him playing for the Lakers next season. Just don't know how they'll accomplish that either re-visit the Wall trade, stretch provision/waiving outright, pull a Simmons, or he actually does give up 47 million out of stupid pride.

 

The fact that AD and Dame made it to the 75 anniversary team is still appalling to me. If it weren't for that Mickey Mouse ring AD would have never sniffed that list. Dwight Howard had every right to get mad about that snub and 25 years down the road when they do the 100 list people will see AD's name and say "WTF were they smoking in 2022?"
