Can't believe he is 190lb. I mean, that's like reggie miller weight and miller was skinny! Garnett and Durant were heavier than that in their rookie year.

I agree but do you pick that guy at the top of this draft?

That sounds like a 3 point shooting specialist.

Smith can certainly stroke it from 3, but he isn’t a three point specialist. He has shown an ability to hit very tough isolation plays as well, at a fairly high rate. He also has the upside to be an all NBA Defense type player.

He is a lot like Paul George but a better shooter and not quite as smooth.

If that guy is the best guy available, yes. I have no issues with a tall three point specialist with quick release that plays defense if there isn't a better prospect available.

I can see arguments for Smith, Chet, and Ivey at the top spot. If I was in the top spot, I would try to trade down a spot as Chet and Smith are relatively close in my opinion with Smith being safe and Chet being a swing for the fences.

Think I've reached the point where I was last year. I was cool with any of Green, Cade or Mobley. If someone was to tell me we'd have one of those 3, I'd take that and run.

Same here. If we can get any of the top 4 (Ivey, Paolo, Jabari, or Chet) I'm more than satisfied. This team needs talent in the worst way and any of those 4 will be an upgrade to what we currently have. Give me a top 4 pick and I'm gravy.

Yeah he does have a nice mid-range game and post-up, George has a much better handle if he had George's dribbling skills he would be #1 hands down.

Banchero looked un-draftable against a really depleted and weak SU quad today. He wasn't aggressive, was almost non-existent, and looked complacent. Griffin at least had one nice layup. This was a bad look if you ask me.

    I didn't watch the game, but 10 pts, 10 rebs, 7 asts, 5 steals, 1 blk doesn't seem too non-existent. lol. But like I said, I didn't watch... :D

And Christian Wood averages 20/10. Sometimes there are empty stats. You have to watch the games and Banchero has some nice skills, but just does not have the kind of dawg he needs to be an elite player in the NBA. He does not shoot well from 3, is pedestrian on defense, does not demand the ball or work really hard on either side of the court. I would not pick him top 3. Even though we don’t need another SG, I would pick Ivey over Banchero every day of the week, and try and trade for a rim protector.

There is a difference between empty stats and doesn't play defense. Wood doesn't play defense.

I dont know about that. Wendell had the hot hand and the team fed him. In the game before Banchero got outside of himself and was chucking and looked way worse than he did yesterday. Its some self awareness that he doesnt need to be front and center for that team to win. Dude almost had a triple double from the frontcourt. You're really going to reference a "really nice layup" and not mention that Paolo also had 5 steals and 7 assists? Strange, but its ok that Banchero is not a sought after prospect for you, but "undraftable" is certainly a reach.

Safe to say that Paolo DID look "draftable" yesterday? LOL - just having some fun.

Paolo listens to yall!! Pretty efficient game. Looked for the hot hand in Griffin. Banchero got after the boards. Active on defense. Great overall game to help overcome some deficits and secure the win.

They will. Hopefully sooner rather than later. If they get a high enough pick they'll take a 4 and roll the dice on KPJ again next year. Watching him in his *3rd* year and he still looks like a passable 6th man at best. His best trait might be his defense.

The KPJ experiment has not gone swimmingly.

Didn’t get to watch the game but looks like Paolo scored well against VT but Duke still got rolled.
