From the Mom. Update. When life hands you , make lemon cream pies and more. William might have been diagnosed with Stage 4 RCC but DAMNIT he is going to prove CANCER will NOT WIN with him. Today he played in his first middle school basketball game. Yes, I was concerned about his port a cath and him getting hurt but, life never guarantees you another second, hour, even day. I am super proud of WILLIAM. He was hussling today in the game. I am super super proud of you son. Never settle!!!
No updates. He's hanging in there. Just posting because this took 6-8 weeks to arrive. Crazy long. But I think any 10 year old would dig this.
I found it on eBay for 53 bucks. Coolest part is you can get an X-wing version and they can battle each other.
Glad to hear he’s still going. This breaks my heart and I think of it often. It’s a lesson that life is precious and time with kids is limited.
His mom found this letter from him in the car this morning. Apparently he wasn't even asked to write it.
Just found out they're taking him out of future cancer treatments. They aren't working and they feel it's best he enjoy all the time he has. This sucks. He still completely looks healthy. Sincere thanks to all of y'all.
Here's the update and what they're looking for: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-bre...m_campaign=p_email+1137-update-supporters-v5b
@Roscoe Arbuckle Does he play video games and does he have a Nintendo Switch? Also, what's his sister's first name? Here is the latest from the GoFundMe: I would like to bring Bre, William and his 13yo sister up to DC for a quick four day trip (probably March 31 to April 3) and want to make his trip extra, extra special William loves history and politics, and he ESPECIALLY loves baseball. The GoFundMe community is full of generous neighbors who have surprising connections with professional sports teams/players (Nationals!), celebrities, politicians and whoever/whatever else. Boat ride? Helicopter tour? White House? Practice with the Nationals? If you or someone you know is able to help us fill William’s trip to DC with unique experiences, please do let me know—I would love to go all out for the little guy, but need your help. If you have any ideas or connections, please let me know so we can start planning On a related note, William’s 11th birthday is on April 19th, and Bre is hoping that he will receive cards from all over the U.S. If you would like to wish him a happy birthday, please send a card to: William P.
