I've always done garlic, onion, lemons, limes oranges, oj, sprite or strawberry soda, butter.

 

I’ve never heard of strawberry soda. Is it a flavor addition or something else?

 

I was out of sprite one time and used the strawberry soda instead. Its subtle on flavor enhancing but the heads have hints of it.

 

Oh, I know. I've used oj before, it's aight, Sunny D is horrendous nasty stuff. Hated it as a kid, not about to buy it now.

 

Viet-cajun crawfish is like crack to me. I long for the days when the price on crawfish wasn't $10/lb from those places. I remember when I used to be able to go to various places and get crawfish for around $2.99 or maybe it was $3.99 per lbs on sale. Now it's like you pay for just 3 lbs, 4/5 of what you paid for goes in the trash, and you're still hungry. Somethin' ain't right about this ...

 

Yeah man, prices have gotten stupid.
Even purchasing live to do your own boil.
I wait til Boyd’s texts me they have sales

 

Back when it was $3.99/lb, my parents would buy me 10 lbs and I'd go to town in the HK4 food court. Those were the days. I cringe at $10/lb now.
