Maybe. Trump gets reelected and it solves all of Putins problems doesn't it?

Yeah I understand his broad intertwining goals as I laid out, but I don’t think he’s going to be successful. His strategy seems to have changed to a “if I can’t have it nobody can” strategy which is a sign you are losing big time.

He’s also going to expedite those former Soviet states still on the fence into being big time NATO members and reducing his potent “sphere of influence.”

I actually think he won’t even wait too much longer to “announce” a new Ukrainian president whether Zelensky is alive or dead but I don’t think that puppet has any shot of being able to control that country.

But no don’t confuse his goals with success. He’s already lost IMO and his days are numbered even if he does get some idiot to accept the title of President of Ukraine and gets some government infrastructure to comply with his orders. That guy is literally going to have to rely on tens of thousands of Russian troops every day to operate as his security, police force, power and water general managers, mayors, etc. It will have to be an militarily occupied country for decades and I don’t think even Russia has that ability to fund that. I don’t think he can even fund that for another month.

The people that do know roll their eyes and don't bother to respond.

It's interesting how many people know so little about an industry but have no problem writing an opinionated 5 paragraph essay portraying themselves as experts on a forum because they read random posts on twitter and the occasional bloomberg article.

Then you have the absolute worst people. Those that are in the "industry" and claim to be experts on a high level. However, they spend their day pounding keyboards inputting revenue, doing accounts payable, human resources, or the absolute worst.... divison order analysts who think they are experts in the industry because they can read operating agreements and leases well enough to build a deck, but never have seen a drill site or have even sat in on a business development meeting or negotiation of any kind.

Yeah, I don't think it's a left or right thing. Pointing fingers likely benefits Big Tech instead as The Algorithm shoves us into our echo chambers rather than working together to reduce the power these companies have by scale and effortless automation.

Oh God… the proverbial “THEY” again. What is it with you wing nuts with the whole “THEY” thing.

My guess is not one influential person in Moscow drives a Tesla. That’s not a big deal. But yeah business leaders shouldn’t profit off of mass murder. So it’s not a huge ask to ask companies like Visa and Mastercard to cut off servicing Russia. It’s a big reason why it’s the right thing to do to also stop buying oil from Russia too.

But the whole proverbial “THEY” card you guys always play is so obnoxious.

"They!" are always the worst.. They're as bad as "Those people" or "That side".

'Those people' and the Tolkiens are the worst. I can handle the 'They's.

Putin, Biden, and formally Trump are/were the people running some of the most powerful nations in the world.

So I think the worry about those people would be more than justified.

But the amazing thing about humans is that we can worry about that and also the future generations at the same time.

The way we react to our worry about the current leaders will play a big role in the future generations.

Can you just come out and say you hate the left more than you hate Putin, Xi, and Kim combined?

I think Biden is doing that Biden thing again saying that they will help Poland so that Poland can send fighter jets to Ukraine but then he says it's up to Poland to do it it's their decision while Poland is saying they're not going to do anything unless it is blessed by NATO, so basically it's bureaucratic bullshit.

The fact is ukrainians are more brave than all of NATO and the United States put together and the fact that we're just letting them fight a war against insurmountable odds and not doing anything really significant I just don't understand it.
