Lol, lot of wishful thinking from you.
The dude is a piece of crap. He doesn’t represent this city. He needs to go.
I hope we get a good return for him and he gets injured or in jail down the road.

For one Lovie is a PEACEMAKER and there are more who would want him to play again for the Texans than not.

I think in the end, Cal and Caserio will let Lovie make the decision. However, we will have to wait and see

I’ve been clear. I don’t want a serial sexual abuser as the face of my city. He’s a piece of ****.
That’s not even mentioning the candy ass way he signed a contract and 4 months later said he didn’t want to be here.
You fanbois will say he’s got his money and finessed the Texans. A real Houstonian would want the dude gone.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, the last thing I want to hear from Watson when this trade happens is thanks. Both the Texans and Watson have been absolutely ignorant in this whole ordeal and both are at fault. In the end I don't want to hear Watson's hollow words, I don't want to hear his thanks to the fans, to the city, to the organization. Just go away, thank your new city, thank your new fans, give your cliche we expect to win the Superbowl answers. You and your parasitic inner circle are irrelevant here, and if you really want to thank the city take Easterby and McNair with you.

Watson thought it was the good ‘ole scoundrel days of old, where the entitled could openly have their way with whomever they choose too. And worst of all, he thinks those rules are still applicable to fellas like himself. Well unless he knows something the rest of us don’t know, Watson is waking up from one nightmare into the real nightmarish situation he’s in.

Scoundrel used to run amuck with impunity, but not the good folks whom the law has always been unmercifully with; throwing the book in practice is reserved for people with morals and consciousness.

A high percentage of scoundrels happen to be men, but a tiny sliver of men actually are scoundrels. God blessed all with a conscious, but a tiny amount choose to nullify theirs into oblivions.

The Eagles have 3 FRPs this season. Picks 15, 16, and 19.

Maybe 2 of their 2022 FRPs and a FRP next year?

    I wouldn't want Hurts included.

I wouldn't mind Minshew...a solid, young, cheap backup who can start if Mills gets hurt or falls apart.

I've said this before and I think its true....It's Houston or no where. The teams who can make offers, he's not going to want to go there and he can dictate because of his No Trade Clause.

The only place I knew he wanted to go to, Miami, was largely due to Brian Flores.....He's gone!

    So it's H-Town or bust!

I see you heard the message this morning! And here's another message, we ALL are scoundrels (sinners), some more than others.

If Deshaun did it, he messed up, he was wrong but if he's found not liable criminally, this situation takes a different turn.

The problem with Marcellus Wiley’s argument is that the criminal liability is not closed merely because they settle the civil issue. In addition, remember that he is still getting paid, so ultimately he has nothing to lose. Also, and Wiley knows this because he is from LA, has he never heard of Kobe Bryant? Kobe was actually accused of rape, and with stronger evidence. He got off and now no one cares. In fact when someone bought it up after Kobe’s death, that person was pilloried in the media. There is also Ben Rothlisberger, Ray Lewis (literally involved in a murder) etc. So while I understand Marcellus’s opinion, I am not sure it is a cut and dry as he makes it out to be.

Finally, Rusty Hardin is one of the best defense attorneys in the country. He has seen all of the evidence and has advised him not to settle. He would not do that if he did not think he had strong case.

I am not saying I think he should stay on the Texans, because I don’t. My fear is and always has been that he ends up leaving and we get nothing for him. He goes somewhere, wins and we are left with Davis Mills, Jack Easterby and Lovie Smith. yeah us.

I think what Marcellus was alluding to was if he had settled initially, none of the women would have spoken to the police to bring up criminal charges. Basically, the cases would have been closed at that point. Which I and many felt he should have done, rather than let it get to this point but he has to follow the advice of his attorney.

The main differences with the guys you're referencing is that when they "committed their sin", they were still beloved by their respective cities. Kobe's case having "stronger evidence" is a little subjective. They had evidence that this woman had slept with like 3 guys in one day. But I digress, they ALL had won a title for their cities, and were all already metaphorically enshrined in their cities' HOF. Deshaun has disgraced the entire city, and has made most of us willing to go with a player of lesser talent, just as long as it's not him. The Texans will do him ZERO favors.

I also believe him leaving and us getting nothing for him is close to impossible. Just my opinion, but letting a player of his caliber go with nothing in return, would have to be the league performing the unprecedented move of voiding his contract. My fear is he tries to play hardball again, and we're stuck with him being benched here or worse, him delaying Mills development because he's forced to play...
