His mid range game has been pretty sweet. He’s a good free throw shooter too. He’s not a sniper but his shot is quality enough to be an elite level scorer when his handles and strength improve. Thrilled with his progress.
Wood is better roller/lob threat than Sengun. But if Rockets trade Wood, then KJ should start over Tate because he would be next best roller/lob threat on team.
The mid range game has come on lately but was actually horrible to start the season. In the past 11 games he's shooting 57% from midrange (!!), but prior to this stretch he was shooting 29%, even worse than his 3 point percentage. It's a nice development to his game because he's probably going to need it if he wants to hit that upper echelon of scorers. An interesting note from looking this up, there are only three players on our team who have taken a significant amount of midrange shots - Wood, Jalen, and KPJ. KPJ is shooting only 25% on midrange, which is better than Wood, who is shooting 18% on midrange shots. He's 9 out of 50! I knew they were bad, but jesus, that is worse than I would have guessed.
What an amazing game. I keep having to say this, and it's a good thing, but this was the best game of his short career. His clutch shots at the end were so exciting and hype. I know we wanna lose, but I'm glad they got the win. They played well down the stretch and deserved it. Greens growth post asb has been so damn rapid
@CXbby @Bobbythegreat @Downtown Sniper Any player in the upcoming rookie class you guys absolutely hate? Let Rafael know about it. Can't wait
I understand the criticism about Jalen Green when the kid didn't find his game. What I still don't understand is that those Rockets fans who come to this forum 20 times a night to criticize him when things go wrong, have now been missing for weeks. This only confirms how miserable they are.
