Yeah, I think the thing about not being able to create his own shot is fake news.

What he's had an issue with is getting buckets in traffic and instead of stopping and popping in the mid range he would try to get too deep inside. IMO.

I've never felt like he couldn't break players down one vs one. With his elite athleticism he doesn't have to be James Harden out there with his craftiness. All he has to do is give a couple feints and then blow by most guys. And he gets so much separation on his step backs as well.

I don't blame the coach really, no one is going to play hard when they know the team is tanking and there are at least 3 players on the roster in rotation that simply shouldn't be in Houston anymore.....and wouldn't be in Houston anymore if they had even a halfway competent GM.

Why wouldn't those vets just "go through the motions"?

Yeah, there aren't really any PGs at the top of the draft this year anyway. I think getting rid of EG and Wood would help.
