Yeah.... I'd go with homophobic, but since the word that got *'d had 6 letters and started with an f, I assumed...

Do you also sometimes randomly call people “n*****s” or “ch***s” or “cu**s”

dont get me wrong want to get upset and call someone a d******d or mother****er, fine you were upset. And maybe you’d still have repercussions from that.

but… “f*****”… man there’s some words that just reveal character.

And he claims it is used quite often in his line of work.

I've dealt with many people in finance related fields and I can't imagine any of them ever using that word. And, if they did, I'd leave them in a heartbeat.

He has referenced this incident more than once now. The first time, no one took the bait. The he dedicated a new thread to it. Make no mistake. He didn't create this thread to vent about an injustice over this (as he is claiming) or to solicit pity because he lost his job. He is bragging.

It wasn't a client. It was one of a half dozen people at this company that couldn't give me a straight answer on why we weren't getting paid. After over an hour of being passed from one person to the next, this Chad guy answers and it's is very obvious he has no idea what I've been dealing with and it was obvious I was going to have to start from scratch and that infuriated me so I said something to the jist of "you've got to be ****ing kidding me." Then this **** raised his voice to me that he wouldn't tolerate that language and THAT was when I lost it. and yeah, when a company owes us thousands of dollars and can't figure out what is going on, I get really pissed off. Hell, I get pissed off at AT&T all the time because for months they were adding an erroneous $25 late fee to my bill. Here, we were talking thousands. When all is said and done, they still owe us $30k.

As for the remark being used in my industry? All the time. That Glengarry scene is known by just about everyone. I even recall this girl manager playing it during one of our after work conferences.

Next time get a lawyer if you're getting shafted on $30k.

I don't really see the big deal. Nothing Eminem didn't say about Mark Wahlberg in Drug Ballad.

I just got out of a meeting with Walmart corporate. Was thinking about starting my thank you email with

    “Dear ****ing f*****s at Walmart”.

    This.

At some point the world changes, and what is and isn't acceptable changes.

You have to keep up and learn or end up being the old guy at Cracker Barrel without a cell phone in a flannel shirt pointing out all the "colored folks".

I'm a Gen X'er...just like Fatty. I'll cut you if you accuse me of slotting in somewhere else. Fatty should do the same.

Just because the millenniums are too lazy to do the math doesn't mean they should erroneously group us otherwise. Hell...boomers can pretty much kick any generation's ass...especially melodiums.

I'm a proud Generation X member. Although my knees feel like boomers or Civil War participants.

Pic of Chad...just to add some pixels to the discussion...
