I'm listening to Manchin on MTP and he's pushing for new oil production and building of pipelines to address the rise in oil prices.

Listening to Nikki Haley on MTP.
She just said "You don't ask your enemies to help with your enemies.." It's a good thing she wasn't around during WWII.

It's hard to take her seriously when she's saying we shouldn't talk or negotiate with anyone except our friends.

I guarantee if you if you told Americans that a no fly zone would mean engaging and taking Russian aircraft out not only in Ukraine but also across the board in Russia and attacking Russian SAM sites in Russia that percentage would drop significantly.

If you don't Russians can lob missiles at American aircraft from within Russia and do hit and run attacks where the fly over the border attack and then run back over the border. Keep in mind their airbases are much much closer to the border & Ukrainian cities than NATO bases

I don't understand how anyone can read this and still think a no-fly zone is a good idea @Major @Air Langhi @DaDakota

Have sanctions ever worked? Don't they always lead to war?

Not on that tweet alone, they've also jailed over 11k protesters so far and Oligarchs are demanding an end of the war, plus one saying Russia doesn't have a leader.

    Things are progressing.

Nothing is stopping our privately owned domestic oil companies from increasing production. The current status of our refining ability is something I haven't looked at yet.

I will always wonder if and when Putin started believing his own anti-West boogeyman stories. That's important b/c it determines exactly how dangerous he is.

Please explain why US energy companies are not producing oil on all those fields/permits they already have? What's stopping them? Why do they need more land and permits and pipelines when they aren't using the ones they got already?

Are you able to answer that?
