those BK hit pieces looking more and more pathetic as the days go by…the nonsense they were putting out was so amusing

1st it was KD and Kyrie wanted a free flowing offense and Harden didn’t…we’ll just forget about KD having problems with Kerr because Kerr discouraged ISO play…we’ll just ignore that Kyrie is an ISO player who likes to dance on his defender

Kyrie is 5th in ISO frequency, and KD is 8th, but they want free flowing offense…they wanna be GS…

Nets offense doesn’t look any different post-Harden

then it was Harden was upset because he was having to carry the Nets due to Kyrie being an idiot and all the injuries, but at the same time, he was also mad because he didn’t want to defer to Durant

and now Harden is in Philly taking just 12 shots a game after drastically reducing his shot attempts and usage in Brooklyn

So which is it? Does he want to have 35% usage and take 20+ shots like in Houston or not? Because all the evidence suggests otherwise

Seemed pretty obvious to me that he didn’t want to be Houston Harden and was being forced back into that role with part time Kyrie and Joe Harris and KD being out. He’s getting old, knows his window as a truly elite player is closing, and he knows how this scenario plays out. He clearly doesn’t want to do all the heavy lifting by himself. He’s been advocating for himself by demanding help. Anybody that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

an underrated reason why I think Harden might have been so eager to move on is because BK’s training staff sucks…dudes dropping like flies every other week, and he had 4 hamstring injuries there within a year with 2 of them occurring within the 1st possession of the game

Joe Harris had an ankle sprain, and that ended up with him missing the rest of the season

if Ben Simmons’ back issue is legit, good luck with BK and their training staff

    RedNinetyFour is right

Harden can manage at least 18 and 10 until age 37 or so, I fully believe that

Joel Embiid is just 27, and Maxey can became the 2nd scorer behind him as Harden ages while Harden focuses more and running and organizing the offense, and then scoring when needed

Russ is 33 and already an extremely net negative player…Harden is 32 and still a superstar when happy and motivated

Bobby Marks was horrendous when in the Nets FO, but somehow he now has a voice on ESPN

hope the Heat is close to full strength for tonight's game. Butler is listed as questionable, Lowry out ...

    go Sixers

Let's try to avoid the revisionist history. Westbrook has regressed a lot since he left Houston. In game 7 against OKC, he was solid while Harden was pretty bad (4/15 from the field; 1-9 from the 3pt line).

Really tough game for them tonight. Big W if they pull it out though.

I still think the 76ers' best ball is ahead of them, even more so because they really haven't played together, yet. Also, this team is almost a perfect fit for Harden.

    -Shooters, everywhere.
    -Defenders, everywhere.
    -No black holes on offense.
-James can play iso, give up the rock, setup plays, or spot up.

The only big concerns --- HEALTH and Harris.

Westbrook had a good season with us, but you'd be hard pressed to prove that it was "easily" his best season since his MVP year.

Technically, his 3pt shooting was a touch under 40%, but yes, he had a great year alongside Harden. He's had several great years in his career.

Maxey was having breakout season before Harden arrived, and Embiid said that after 1 game.

Well, yeah. Of course. With us, Parsons was on his rookie contract. With Dallas and Memphis, wasn't he on max contracts? It's much easier being Robin or Alfred than it is Batman.

Hmmm, revisionist? Did Russ not get carried to the 2nd round? He didn't even play the first four games of the series.

So, are there still people who think Brooklyn won this trade?

Yes revisionist. 100% revisionist. I suggest you take another look at Harden's game 7 stats against OKC.

Given that I correct you so often, what does that say about your basketball knowledge?
