This is useless without differentiating by age, since the risk of an old person to die from it has been thousands of times higher than that of someone under 40.

    mojoman level stupid.

is it your view that mask wearing should never change. That guidance should never change.

oh wait, maybe you do T believe in following data.

the sheer, basic stupidity I see is staggering. And it is consistent. And continues with no chagrin, even when it’s pointed out. I guess stupid doesn’t mind being called stupid,

You can wear three masks and gloves and a hazmat suit. But leave everyone else - who doesn't suffer from mass formation psychosis - alone to do what they want.

I wasn’t aware that I was debating mask mandates, with you or anyone else.

I am talking about the statement "risk of dying from it is 0.1%". Because the risk is so vastly different from someone aged e.g. 5 vs. 85, talking about "the risk" by calculating an average is like averaging the time it would take to get from Houston to LA between different modes of transport (plane, car, walking) and saying "it takes .... hours to get from Houston to LA".

I posted the actual risk of death once you contract Covid by age group in another thread:

    https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...n-thread-please-try-to-be-nonpartisan.314906/

Note the massive difference between people aged 0-17 (0.00778%) and 85+ (more than 20%). These figures are largely pre-Omicron and partly pre-vaccines. The risk is much lower now.

I know it's been said over and over again, but Death is a LAGGING indicator.
It's lags about 3 weeks behind case counts. Case counts dropped significantly (literally by 90%) between mid January and mid February and that's why the drop in precautions.
it's not a conspiracy theory..it really is following the science.
