They were ahead by a lot, managed to give it all up and are trailing in OT. That's a team committed to the tank.
Wood just clogs the paint on offense and makes it hard for our guards to drive….FOR LITERALLY NO REASON! It’s not like he’s going to make a smart pass out of the post
He clearly looks rusty, he hasn't played much lately and is coming back from an ankle injury. I didn't really expect him to come back playing like he was before he went down. If he's still playing poorly a few games from now, then I'll be concerned.
LOL him being injured is my bad. I had him over 9.5 points and after him hitting 3 threes early, he just had to leave injured.
Silas is trying to juggle a lot of things and so far the growth trajectory of players has been pretty solid across the board. I don't know what kind of involvement Stone has on some of his choices but it's clear he has at least some. So we don't know if playing Wood and Gordan is a Silas decision or a Stone decision. Think about it. Why would Stone want Wall to sit, but Gordon and Wood to play given none of them are part of the future? The only reason I can think of is that Wall has no trade value with his contract, but Gordan and Wood do so you want to play them and showcase them and maximize their value. Point is, I need to Silas without these handcuffs to really understand what he is capable off - also he's a young head coach so he deserves some leeway in a learning curve.
JG with another potential assist to Sengun. He has a showing great secondary playmaking this game even though the assists down show it.
It really feels good for my mental health to not watch a rockets game with Wood still in the roster. To them boys who still have the stomach to watch Wood play, I salute yah
