How petty and talk about political grandstanding. The national guards are paid by the DoD the vast majority of the time and only 300 state national guards are being called up to assist DC National Guards. Just a few months ago, Florida asked for more funding from National Guard Bureau to increase the number of troops in the state's National Guard. I've got to hand it to DeSantis. He is the master of polarizing PR spins. He's gladly take federal dollars while grandstand against the federal government. Whatever happened to that $0.25 gas tax holiday (funded by federal covid funds) that he proposed anyways?

If you're talking about the article I posted, how is he right? Isn't it up to the individual as to whether or not they want to wear a mask? After all, Florida is the 'most free state in the nation'. Also, why confront a group of high school students who are probably nervous enough as it is? It was weak and uncalled for on his part.

Note that she is not wearing a mask either lol. I can tell you that kid is getting more pressure from crazy enraged mom than from the Governor.
