Lol. I like them too but we'll see. But I just do NOT see NO other option. Philly - he turned them down Minn - too cold, he's not going there Carolina - he turned them down Mia - Flores is gone NY Giants - they said no Pitts - they have a low pick and future picks will be lower with Watson. Caserio would be getting unfair value TB - same as with Pitt Anyone else? Awe, the Texans? New experienced coach who relates to his players and well known, highly regarded OC
Yep, some feel that way but reality is, since he holds a NO TRADE clause and if there is no trade partner found....guess who's coming back?
He doesn't want to be here...that's why this whole mess started. He will accept a trade he has previously said no to in order to not be here.
You forgot OR playing for the Texans. I'm just going by what Lovie said today during his interview. Lol
Avery is a trainer and bashing players (whether they’re his own or not) isn’t a good look. He’s just trying to clean up a dumb comment.
Yeah, I didn't take this as anything trying to help the Texans. I actually think this is MORE-SO for him to not have Deshaun look bad to a potential future team. Avery had definitely said enough to this point, that his reputation will 100% precede him... he's not the best person to have in your circle...
Right and Steve Nash said they wouldn’t trade Harden. If the criminal charges get dropped then he will be traded.
If you're going by "The Freak" you would say the back door is always open. Lol However, It is possible but I think DW4 was largely going to Miami because of Flores. Also, I can see NY but their owner said the same thing, they are not interested. And don't forget the No trade clause...he controls his own destiny, so Minn, Car and Philly are out!
I'm thinking Pittsburgh is the landing spot for Watson. They don't seem to have a problem with minority activists or Sexual Predators playing QB on their team.
He really doesn’t control anything. That no trade clause isn’t as powerful as you think. He can play hard ball, and the Texans can play even more hard ball. Ruin his career worse than he has already.
I'm not saying its just Lovie's call, it's the organization's call and I think Caserio and Lovie are on the same page with this. Also, I think Andre Johnson and Cal has opened up lines of communication again AND don't think for once that this issue has not been addressed. I think if he is not charged criminally, there is a very good possibility he could return
