    Ja status?

I look at their games and I think Jalen is more athletic, has a better outside shot at similar stages in their careers BUT something seems to be missing.

When Ja Mort came into the league he was definitive in his drives to the basket and that's what I think Green needs to work in this summer. He gets too many of his shots blocked at the rim and even in his approach to scoring, I think he defers too much....He needs to become more forceful all way around.

I don’t think Jalen is more athletic than Ja.
Ja has more body control and wiggle to go along with similar vertical and quickness

But it would be bad ass if he could become like Ja. That’s a huge win for rockets if so

Jalen is more athletic than Morant

Subjective so I'll leave this alone.

Jalen "has a better outside shot at similar stages in their careers"

Morant shot 34% from 3 his rookie year while Jalen is shooting 31% this year. In fact, Morant also had a better FG% in the space between the paint and the 3 point line in his rookie year than Jalen has so far.

Jalen gets too many of his shots blocked at the rim and even in his approach to scoring

Jalen: 46 games played; 57 shots were blocked. That's about 1.2 shots blocked per game
Morant's rookie season: 67 games played, 92 shots were blocked. That's about 1.37 shots blocked per game

Jalen has all time great written all over him

And Ja and Jalen are friends that will work out in the summer.

    They each support each other.

Does he have all time great written on him?
I think he has the tools, but I’m getting a strong AD vibe to him. Maybe he would be an elite Robin rather than Batman.

I hope he is an all time great. Would be great core with him and Alp (and Chet)

    Overexaggerate much?

I mean, Jalen certainly passes the eyeball test for a teenage basketball prodigy but all time great written all over him?

Morant is an MVP candidate, Green probably won’t reach that level.

Not sure if serious. As a rookie, Morant scored more, more efficiently than Green. And he got more rebounds and three times the assists. Objetively this is just a false statement.

I don’t pay attention to what posters say if I don’t respond to them if that’s what you’re saying.
I was asking you what says all time great.

I think it is way too early to compare him to anyone.

We still do not know who or what he is, I get heat for saying he is only a scorer that has little allround game.

We will know better by the end of his 2nd year or by his 3rd year.

    Kobe, Ja or someone else.

DD I think you need to give him more time. I think his biggest problem is he is too unselfish at times and he needs to be more like Kobe.

If you look at it, he sits and waits for the ball to come to him before he shoots, he rarely force anything.

Ja Morant had the Grizzlies in playoff contention his rookie year

    Y’all forgot?

Jalen Green is raw, Ja wasn’t

I can see similarities in physical attributes.
I think Green can develop the skill set.
I just wish he had Ja mentality.
