Not a bad loss. At this point am really hoping we finish with the worst record to secure a top-5 pick so there's no loss that's bad in my book.

I know it sucks to gripe about players and minutes all the time. But I just don't get it. We're 60 games into the season and Sengun still only plays 16 minutes and Jaygup 13 mins. And Sengun was actually playing well while Wood was playing like crap! But he still only managed 16 minutes. How is that possible? What the hell is Silas doing running vets for 30+ mins and sacrificing all the minutes our younger guys could get/need at this point in the season?

 

Zubac > Wood
Hartenstein > Wood
Sengun > Wood

 

Simply not having Wood > Wood

15 points in 16 mins no less. Sengun gets 30 mins a game he easily is a 20/10 player. Of course, we might win too much. Wood is the new tank commander.

 

It's a possibility. Whenever this team wins these days it's a surprise more than not.

 

I kept saying it all year long, rotations make no sense.

When I was complaining about Green not getting minutes in the 4th qtr the reply was "Well, he has to earn it." but other players HAVE deserved more minutes and don't get it. Even in a singular game where someone like KMJ was hot and the coach just...doesn't recognize it. Sengun played extremely well...doesn't matter, out he goes.

But hey, maybe the goal is to tank and the GM/Owner has told the coach he has to play players like Wood x amount of minutes.

 

I think a young coach is struggling handling the egos on the team.

He can't cut the playing time of the vets without push back and he's not capable of dealing with that.

 

Ok, let's ask the NBA to put an asterisk by Hakeem's block record since he played with completely different rules.

Other teams would have gone scoreless and he would have won more championships if he could have bodied up on people at the rim. And we all know that Hakem's teammates committed hundreds of fouls as they made contact with on the drive, waiving off many other blocks. Who knows how many he would have added?

 

I miss being a relevant team.

 

The referees let them play underneath tonight... except we don't really have a guy who can play underneath so...

This. Nobody knows why Rockets play vets 30 mins for tanking.

 

Getting that ball to Green in the end there was a way to try to build some confidence, it was not to try to win the game, because there are better 3pt options than Green.

But, it shows you have confidence in a young player to let him decide the game.

Not a big Silas fan but I liked that move for development sake.
