Ah, you must be one of those loons who thinks Jade Helm was real and there is some mass gun roundup looming.

    That makes sense.

Not sure where it was posted or where he found it, but @CCorn did a thorough writeup on Ukraine's gun laws and regulations. I should have saved it.

Doubt that will happen...last thing we want is some French pilot being shotdown and taken prisoner by the Russians.

"Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told the EU "they need the kind of fighting jets that the Ukrainian army is able to operate... some member states have these kinds of planes," Borrell said."

They may be right, they may be wrong, they may be crazy

But what you posted has no bearing on the current situation.

I don't know, man. I was with you on that whole story until you mentioned whistling.

Long ago, I had a sign in my lab for all my research students: "smoking allowed, but absolutely no whistling."

Here’s an idea give everyone the right to bear arms - let them train and be familiar- o what’s that a country would never invade in todays kind and care about your feelings progressive society? Hmm - thousands of rifles in citizens hands would never be a deterrent- hmm Ukraine is the new wake up pill

The majority of guns that are used by criminals and gangs are illegal guns

does el chapo go to the gun store and register 5000 Ak47s?

Yeah, I posted that a good while back, (and I'm glad you're posting it again). If the translations are accurate, that's why I was saying he can't take in any contrary perspective at this point. What I got out of that weird clip was:
    (1) "Speak directly!" = "Tell me exactly what I want you to say and nothing else!"
    and
    (2) WTF with sitting so far away from everyone, comrade Howvard Hugheski.

Of course it does. Had Germany not built up and emboldened Putin (and funded his war machine) through Nord Stream and Gazprom, and had Germany actually contributed to NATO as it should have, Putin would not have been in the same position to start this war.

Germany seems to only react after the fact - today, it decides to invest 100 billion into its defense, and today, it decides to contribute its 2 % to NATO. For many, many years, Germany ignored and ridiculed the US administration's pleas for Germany to do exactly these things.

If you do not see the connection to what is currently happening...well.

Some of the Eastern European countries still have some. They've been cycling them out in favor of newer American planes but the older Russian models are still in Eastern European NATO countries. I believe Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia still have active Russian planes. Poland alone has over 20 MiG fighters in service right now (in addition to some Sukhoi planes).
