The man carried scrubs for years and when he finally gets another actual good player in CP3 he pushes the greatest team of all time to the absolute brink lol just pure insanity.
This guy is pretty okay at basketball. Doc needs to not go the way of Nash and playing JH 38 MPG. It's a recipe for disaster
Damn, I didn’t think I would be in here posting **** like this, but here I am again. Harden you beautiful, bearded, basketball savant, b*stard! Whatever you think or feel about him, the man is an all time great basketball player. Period.
James averaging 28/14/9 in his first 2 games with Joel and Philly. I'd say we're off to a solid start.
People who were worried about how he and Embiid would mesh are idiots. Embiid with 27 FT’s today. Many came on Harden passes. The 16 assists is probably an understatement in that sense.
The Harden and Embiid tandem (like many predicted) is working very well, much like the 2018 CP3 and Harden tandem. What surprising thus far is how well Maxey has adjusted to his off-ball role. He's been a killer in early transition and attacking close outs. It's only been two games against two middling teams, but Maxey attacking, Embiids continued dominance and free throws and Harden making quick decisions and passes has to be very encouraging for the sixers. All three are very sustainable even against better teams and defenses. The spot up shooting from Harris, green, korkmaz etc will be a large but varying factor also.
Watched the Sixer/Knicks game today. Here are my 2 cents on the game and the Sixers. When Harden was off the floor, Sixers struggled with their offense. Harden on the floor, the offensive moved smoothly, and he opened the floor for their offense. That said, the officials really slowed down the game with all the foul calls and foul shots. This was a game that most true fouls were called and some that didn't happen were called too. I think the refs keep this game closer than it normally wouldn't. I think the Sixers can win it all. I hope for Harden's sake they do.
2 games into the James Harden era, Philadelphia 76ers set the NBA season-high for free throws made and attempted in a game: 39/44 from the line I am here for the Philly 76 Free Throws. It's simultaneously hilarious and annoying.
