Philly's defense has got to improve if they want to win the chip. That defense out there is not cutting it.
Maxey is so fast. He is going to thrive with Harden. I remember when all Luc and Clint had to do was run fast down the court and it would screw up so many defenses with Harden. Maxey runs fast and can handle the ball. meanwhile Tobias is ass playing with Harden.
Maxey is freakishly athletic. Not in the Ja Morant or Westbrook mold in the sense that he’s an explosive leaper and dunker, but his agility, change of direction, body control, and speed is off the charts. This isn’t going to sound like a compliment, but he’s a rich man’s Ish Smith. Ish Smith has been able to stay in the NBA for 11 years most of which with very little offensive game on the strength that he is an absolute blur. Maxey is a blur, but has game.
They don't even try to run offense through Thybulle's man or try to shed him with a pick. It's like a shutdown corner that teams run plays away from.
embiid plays like a guard, and at his size thats really dangerous i can see why he has had a bit of an injury history, i pray this man stays healthy.. the 76ers are lethal but only when harden and embiid are on the court together
