    Sorry I have been a little distracted but voting has ended for the final.

    And the winner of the Clutchfans Movie Directors Tournament is……

    Stanley Kubrick!!!

    There’s a possibility that we can do this again next year with the condition that Kubrick would be ineligible to compete since he won this year. This also will give an opportunity to re-seed some people and add some others that didn’t make it into this tournament.

    Kubrick was the only choice.

    I'd prefer to give some of the active directors a few years to get a few more films under their belts.

    Well I would prefer a committee to come up with the field and seed them. I would be glad to run it again, but I would really like to see some of our more movie savvy posters come together to determine the field and what their seeds are.

    What poll should I ask/tell/suggest Manny to do next time?

    We'll need a poll to determine this, btw.

    @Manny Ramirez, dude went above and beyond the call of duty on this deal...He PM'd me after I suggested something stupid along these lines: "hey that's a great idea, let me know if you want me to do something". He went ahead and did the work to get it started before I even saw his message.

    Within 48 hours he's started the round of 64. Respect.

    A best actor tournament is something I have thought of along with a best actress and even a best movie and best tv show. We can maybe start this in a couple of weeks- best actor but would like to have a selection committee if possible.
