I wonder if surrounding countries are letting the Ukraine aircraft land or get restocked and fly back to fight? Maybe the C130 is a tanker loading up Ukrainian jets? DD
They aren't really openly supporting Russia - just repeating all the stuff Tucker Carlson, Tulsi Gabbard, Mojoman, etc are saying - that the west forced Russia to act. The West is having trouble agreeing to sanctions on Russia - Italy managed to secure an exception for luxury goods, for example - and Russia's economy is irrelevant compared to China's. There a 0% chance of any sanctions on China unless they send troops or something else ridiculous that will never happen. China is using Russia here for their own endgoals more than supporting them.
Ukraine is who paid millions to the Biden family. And 10% for the Big Guy. Unfortunately, this is relevant to the ongoing conflict in that our Commander-in-Chief has a financial conflict of interest.
I think in a few days a lot of this optimism about the fight Ukraine has put up is going to go away. Without legit airpower or advanced anti-air systems they will get beat down as their SAM sites get taken down and whatever aircraft they have left gets destroyed. Stingers aren't enough either. They can take out helicopters and slow moving cargo/paratroop planes. However, shooting down fighter jets with a stinger is much more difficult since they need to be within 2 miles and the stingers only have a 5 mile range. Not terribly hard to avoid for a fighter jet. Plus, they couldn't do anything against high altitude bombers once the SAMs are down. They need better systems. I do not believe Putin is in a position where he can back down. He probably wanted to spare Kiev, but if the choice is backing down or flattening Kiev I wouldn't bet on him backing down. All the Russians need to do is clear the anti-air and ground forces 28 miles outside of Kiev and they can use their BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers to rain down hell on Kiev for a long time.
I hope they didn't give away a SEAL unit's position. I'm sure they're keeping an eye on the situation. That's who we'd send, if anybody.
