Russian sells some $400 million per day in oil. They've been amazing gold, silver, and other currencies, and solidifying ties with China in preparation for war.

I don't think currencies (other than bitcoin) can get amazed, but maybe amassed?

 

Even if that exchange is factual, which is doubtful, Putin is perceptive enough to know when a blowhard like Trump is bluffing.

Funny how the American left often makes similar accusations of their political opponents. There are many parallels between state controlled media in Russia and how the liberal media works with Democratic politicians to smear political opponents.

We would regard a Russian citizen as being stupid for believing their state propaganda. But American liberals are convinced that they are intelligent when their believe American propaganda. How naive they are!

Heartened by seeing the protests in Russia and major Russian figures against the war. It’s good to see that many Russians aren’t simply rallying around the flag.

Hopefully enough internal and external pressure will bring Putin to his senses.
