I think this might have been a major reason why Harden left. They ran Durant and Harden straight to the ground in the first part of the season, but both went out with injuries. All the while Kyrie is burning sage at home. I don't even think we played Harden this many minutes in Houston.
His minutes in Brooklyn and in Houston were almost identical, somewhere around 37 mpg. Of course, Harden is older now. His skills might not have declined, but I am sure his body can't take as much punishment as he could when younger.
hes too dependent on if his 3s are falling or not...if he hits his 3s then hes fine if not its game over
The only team I can see the Sixers beating in the 1st round is the Cavs. If they get the Heat, Bulls, Nets or Bucks, they're done. Harden is a different player in the playoffs, the weight of expectations and physicality can get to him. There's a reason why he's had tremendous amount of regular season success followed by consistent mediocre playoff performances. He can be outplayed in the postseason
lol at these stale ass takes Harden’s last 4 playoff series 35, 7, and 6 on 44/35/82 splits and 59% TS against GS 30, 6, and 8 on 47/31/85 shooting splits and 62% TS against OKC 29, 5, and 7 on 50/38/84 shooting splits and 66% TS against LA 28, 7, and 11 on 56/48/91 shooting splits and 76% TS against Boston it’s 2022, find a new slant
And in case anyone needs more context: The series against LA was against the would-be NBA champions that postseason. The GS series was against the WC champs and would have been against the would-be NBA champions, if not for both Klay and KD going down near the end of that Raptors series. The series against OKC saw Harden matched up with the "Harden killer" in Lu Dort. And the series against Boston was Harden playing on like, one hamstring. I never like talking down to people, but people that just say "Harden can't get it done in the playoffs" need to educate themselves on what actually goes on in these series.
Notice how Steph losing without KD and Klay is . .. not big deal Hell Steph's 1st championship was THE BEST INJURY LUCK ever *every* starting point guard that season that they met in the playoffs. . . was injured. Rocket River
The funny thing is. . . . .when people bring up the ONE TIME someone else stepped up OOOOOOOOO they came back without him in Game 6!!!!!!!! What happened in Game 7? well you know. . .the pressure was off them then . . cause Game 7s are less pressure than Game 6s! wTF Rocket River
