Power of the Dog, absolutely incredible. Beautiful cinematography. Amazing structure. Just a great great film with a completely unexpected story line (I hadn't read anything about it going in, other than it was a good film). 9.5/10, maybe a 10/10. Amazing film

That makes me think I will like The King's Man even more than the other 2 and I liked them a lot.

Just watched two great sports movies last night and loved them both. They were both great dramas, and a truly inspirational stories of rising up from hard times, and making dreams come true by never giving up.

    King Richard - 9.8 out of 10

    American Underdog - 9.5 out of 10

Finally saw King Richard and it was excellent.

Never saw American Underdog, may check that out and Power of the Dog when I have time.

I rented American Underdog on Redbox. It's really good. I didn't realize what all Kurt Warner went through before becoming an NFL quarterback. It's a good family movie.

The Alpinist is intense -- hard to believe someone was already climbing crazier mountains/ rocks than Alex Honnold. Just seems impossible he made it up so many insane ice/ mixed climbs without a rope climbing the sketchiest wet gravel lines and they are all on first sight with no practice runs with ropes.

Finally saw 12 Years a Slave. One of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. Made Hotel Rwanda look like Mama Mia. But it was so well done and so well acted, I couldn't stop watching. 9.5/10.

Watched The Bombardment last night. (7 out of 10, Netflix). Beautifully filmed, excellent performances (especially the young woman playing the nun, and the two little girls). Based on a true story during WWII in Copenhagen. So much happens and a few story threads that at times connect and others diverge, but the basic story is about a British bombing of a Gestapo building in Copenhagen that goes dramatically wrong.

Power of The Dog was solid. 8.5/10. Kept expecting a rape.

    The Adam Project - 6/10

I keep getting sucked into watching these streaming Ryan Reynolds movies and I dont know why. Has it plot holes and Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds(but not as bad as his usual self) but it's a good movie to watch when theres nothing else.

Watched the KINGSMAN and was a bit disappointed they just can't recapture the majic of the 1st movie.

I was really surprised how little actual action was in the movie just 2 major fight scenes.

Movie was ok maybe my hopes were too high 6/10.

I am finally watching HBO Max and I am loving the DC movies they have on there it's amazing how they can do the anime movies so well but can't transport that to live action.

Maybe let The Batman director get keys to the castle?
