Which state department official said that? Sounds nuts. Do you have a link to the source? UPDATE: I found the source and it's Friday's Q&A with State Department official Ned Price. Weird he didn't mention that. In any case, I watched the whole thing - he never made any kind of pledge to continue working with Russia. He did say the state department would still communicate to Russia when it served the US national security interests. He in fact said as an example, "Just because Russia invaded Ukraine should not give Iran the green light to develop Nukes" So where is this pledge? Seems he is misconstruing the comment to score political points. No wonder he didn't want to mention the name and get called out on it?
Head of security policy at FB. VP of global affairs at Meta. It's just so strange to see a private company this publicly involved in war.
Zelensky surviving the night has to be a big deal. We all know by now how good the US intelligence is and if they were adamant about getting him out last night there must have been a lot being thrown at him we don’t yet know about. These proof of life video updates are going drive Putin crazy and he’s going to throw the kitchen sink at Kyiv.
They are multi national corporations with billions plus users across different platforms...some would be top 10 if their market cap was compared with gdps.
So Biden is just going to sit on the sidelines and watch Zelenskyy lose his country and ultimately die? This is sad to watch. Putin will be even more emboldened after this is over. Our leadership void is making the world an incredibly unstable place.
