I checked, it gives you better odds for the 5th pick, you would not fall to 6th place.
The 2nd worst record could fall to 6th place but not further.
The 3rd worst recod could fall to 7th place but not further.

All 3 in the Worst Ranking possess the same odds for the 4th pick though.
1. 5th pick odds: 47.86%
2. 5th pick odds: 27.84%
3. 5th pick odds: 14.84%

 

Thanks, that was what I was getting at. It would be better to be in the number 1 slot if the ping pong balls go against us and we miss out on a top 3 pick.

 

The worst record is always the best spot (if you don't count lottery protections. lol.).
