If this leads to a larger conflict, and it becomes the NATO nations vs Russia - what do you guys think would happen, and who would win? Would NATO invade Russia? Could Russia resort to Nukes, seems the only way to win that war would be to take the war onto Russian soil and move towards Moscow. Who do you think would win, and why? DD
NATO wins. Russia's has only one card to play, launching their nukes. NATO would have to force Russia to the negotiation table, likely after most of their conventional military assets have been destroyed.
No one wins in a nuclear war. The question is, would Putin be crazy enough to launch nukes......or would the Russian military toss him out on his ass? DD
Some General was on CNBC today and he was having to remind people that Russia is nowhere nearly as powerful as they were during the Cold War. They do have an advanced and large army, but relative to what the US and NATO have, its a fraction of that it once was. A conventional war with NATO would end quickly and badly for Russia. But do you trust the threat of nukes to the sanity of Putin?
