That's one take and very valid. But remember also folks are judging his all his actions since he became President and his inability to see this coming also play into folks feelings. Lastly, remember nobody cared that Bush got bad intel about WMD's in Iraq. They just blamed him anyways. Biden will get the same treatment.
Bush also got the correct intel about WMD in Iraq, but he refused to accept it and in fact had one of the weapons inspectors thrown out for reporting the correct information. Cheney also changed intel gathering when it didn't suit his purpose.
That NPR PBS poll was right before the invasion. I said it's simply reflected polarization more than anything. That will live on very strong, but the fact that the Admin was completely right about Putin's intention and that Putin is a focused enemy of the free world will shift the poll, at least among those that aren't so bound already to their team (how many of them left??). We have already seen early on the leader of the Republican party going all-in on the Putin side and many of the Republicans openly criticizing Biden instead of the traditional rally to the American flag, so I think the polarization will remain very strong. Inflation pressure due to this crisis will add to negative polling for Biden. Wag the dog, right?
That Democrat like to Wag the Dog as you recently said of the Democrat? Your view is almost as strange as the no war guy.
Now that is a public service member who is willing to use her gun to defend her nation. Not just use it as a photo prop for her campaign.
Now this is interesting. NATO forces of ANY KIND actually entering Ukraine at this time will be perceived by Putin as intervening, and this definitely could lead to a pre-emptive attack on NATO forces leading to some really really interesting decisions. I did think that NATO would be along the Poland border and would be doing everything it could to get aid, and supplies into Ukraine, but I'm surprised they would actually enter the country, and risk an exchange of gunfire with Russian troops.
