I don't think you get his point at all. You exist in that way because the international order allows it. Given that basically everyone seems to be yelling at each other that either he needs to be "more tough" or that the US needs to not be involved in anything except for domestic culture wars or Medicare for all, I would say that 36 % of people saying that he's doing a good job is a pretty solid number. The better polling question or focus group conversation would be "what would you want done that the White House has not done?" Everyone is an arm chair General Patton according to their own opinion so the topic alone should warrant very low approval numbers because both sides will be so colorful about their "expert" opinions.

Exactly. It's a lose lose situation for not just Biden mind you... the world is dealing with the exact same question, and I'm sure Australia's polling would be equally crappy too.
