You're the one who said that black woman only make up a small percentage of the population. And unless you are a black woman I'm not sure you're in position to be determining who should represent you. In general though most people think that people that are more similar to them tend to represent them.
This is where generalities are wrong. As a white male, I don't think most of the white male elites found in D.C. represent me. And I am not the only one who feels this way. As white males are the narrow majority, it's safe to say D.C. elites are failing their job. I'm not a huge Obama fan, but he probably represented me more so than nearly all the presidents in my lifetime. Gender and race doesn't and shouldn't matter. If all we care about are superficial traits about humans, this cycle will never end.
apparently the President's State of the Union address is going to fix everything White House chief of staff tries to pump up worried Senate Democrats https://thehill.com/homenews/senate...aff-tries-to-pump-up-worried-senate-democrats
That's fine for you but basically what you're saying is that you know better than black women who should represent them.
I will repeat what I said in the Breyer thread that I don't think this will be a big issue. I will also note that most of those raising this issue likely wouldn't support any nominee that Biden would make anyway.
Relax y'all, it's not entirely Biden's fault - blame Russia for inflation, gas prices, and supply chain issues. The new media concocted scapegoat has arrived. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ukraine-russia-invasion-economic-impact-united-states/
LOL... curious as to when you believe the United States was actually "energy independent"... and why...
Most people don't know what energy independent means, and that even when the US produces the most oil, we still use foreign oil.
2018 - U.S. was the largest producer of crude oil: over 15% of global production, which was more than Russia and Saudi Arabia. And now?......
Even if the US produces enough oil for its own use doesn't mean that we're insulated from high oil prices because it is a globally traded commodity. Also the downfall on US production has much more to do with the drop in oil prices during COVID that made things like shale oil uncompetitive.
You still haven't explained when you thought the US was last energy independent. btw, a hint, what you typed isn't the answer. Nor were you even close to answering the "why." You better do some googling and you will get the answers...
Sorry you don't understand how things actually work and the meaning of energy independence. Google more.
That may have been true in 2020, but the reason it is high now is due to Biden's EO's and decisions that are freezing domestic drilling and exploration.
