Notice you left out Elvin Hayes, Rudy Tomjanovich and Moses Malone.

And Green is still TBD.

Malone was drafted by the Utah Stars, not the Rockets, but I included Franchise as we traded Pippen for him before he played in the NBA.
Rudy T and Hayes were pre-merger so didn't include them. And yes, I put a ? mark next to Green since he is TBD


But you are right in another way, I left out John Lucas and Rodney McCray.

Had a bit of extra time on my hands so ran the simulation 50 times. Not great results. Most common pick by a landslide was #6. 1, 2, & 7 came the least with 4 each.

Serious question, WTF does pre-merger have to do with your point?

You were discussing franchise history and you mixed in franchise player acquisitions of all kinds, not just via draft.

My point is that your faith in this FO should not extend beyond Tilly's ownership.

Rockets were a completely different franchise and organization prior to Tilman Fertitta.

Keep Silas for the tank but he has to go next year. OKC's talent level is nowhere near ours but they just eked out another win. That's coaching.

 

Also keep limiting Sengun’s minutes. If he and Wood would have exchanged minutes, the Rockets probably would have one. I used to be very upset with Silas for not playing Sengun more. Not anymore, we need Wood the tank commander.

 

Wood is our tank commander disguised as a 20/10 franchise player.

 

This was a huge loss for the Rockets in their quest to reach the top of rankings of stankathon 2022. The Rockets should be favorites to lose the next 8 games. Schroder was a magnificent -19 in 28 minutes, so the new guy came through for us. I think the Rockets have a real chance of being #1.

 

Does it matter that much because Orlando and Detroit would have the same odds at #1 and same odds to stay in Top 3 unless their record fall out of the Worst 3.
