The Afghanistan withdrawal went as good as it could get. Peoples expectations were way too high. No real fault to Biden other than poor optics. Biden has placed himself in a bad position with this Ukraine deal. Putin knows Europe needs his resources. With Europe shutting off nuclear and coal, they are completely dependent on Russia. He is using this to his full advantage taunting the West with this invasion. Its ridiculous threatening sanctions and cutting Putin off from SWIFT.
Democrats try to make life better for the people. Republicans enjoy voting against anything that does. It's tough making things better for people when you have selfish greedy people in office who call that socialism or communism and vote no.
As evidenced by many posters in this forum. Some are frighteningly unhinged...all while their dear leader and his idiot minions support this war.
It was very obvious in the lead up to the withdrawal from Afghanistan that Afghan government would fall quickly. That many in the administration including Biden kept on denying that goes down as a monumental failure. Unlike Afghanistan where Biden could’ve recognized the bad situation this is one where he has acknowledged the problems and dealt with them the best he can. The intel and predictions the Admin released have all proven correct. Yes Europe is dependent on Russian gas and oil but it’s more to Biden’s credit that he’s holding the alliance together. For all of those criticizing Biden I’ve yet to see what should’ve been done differently.
Given that Trump and many others are praising Putin while people like Tucker Carlson seem fine with Putin I don’t think they are supporting the war. The problem is that I’m not hearing a well articulated view from them about what should be done and it’s unclear if the MAGA crowd want us to more forcefully oppose Putin or to tacitly allow him to take Ukraine.
Funny, your Uighurs don’t seem to feel too peaceful as their organs being harvested by WinnieThePooPoo.
Russia looks to be taking quite a beating. They are having to pay a high price, I doubt their troops are all that motivated.... Sorry you GOP traitors that are happy about this war.....maybe you guys can go sign up with Putin whom you are supporting. DD
I think they are taking some losses. I don't know that they are taking a beating. Less than half of the troops amassed by the Russians have even been deployed at this time. Hopefully they continue to suffer losses. I also hope the Russian mothers continue to protest.
You have the IQs of a tomato can. We conservatives here on this board are absolutely against this war that was caused by your braindead guy in charge.
